LFO Fused WDM module is based on Fused Biconical Taper (FBT) technology, it is used to combine and separate optical signals transmitted on different wavelengths. This function provides the first level of bandwidth expansion for a network by increasing a fiber’s signal carrying capacity.  Fused WDM Modules may also be used to add additional functionality to the network such as network status monitoring. Our fused WDM Module provides a cost effective way to minimize loss and maximize wavelength isolation.
 
We provide two main types of Fused WDM module: Fused WDM used in optical fiber amplifiers, such as 980/1550nm, 1480/1550nm, 980/1060nm Fused WDM; Fused WDM module used in bi-directional or CWDM optical communication systems, such as 1310/1550nm WDM Module.
 
1310/1550nm Fused WDM Module
1310/1550nm Fused WDM Module can combine 1310nm and 1550nm signals into one fiber or separate 1310nm and 1550nm signals into two fibers in optical fiber system. It can be used to double the fiber transmission capacity or enable the bi-directional communication using one single fiber.
 
1310/1550nm High isolation Fused WDM Module
1310/1550 High isolation Fused WDM Module can combine 1310nm and 1550nm signals into one fiber or separate 1310nm and 1550nm signals into two fibers in optical amplifiers.
 
980/1060nm Fused WDM Module
980/1060nm Fused WDM Module can combine 980nm and 1060nm signals into one fiber or separate 980nm and 1060nm signals into two fibers. It is used for optical amplifiers
 
980/1550nm Fused WDM Module (Pump WDM)
980/1550nm Fused WDM Module can combine 980nm and 1550nm signals into one fiber or separate 980nm and 1550nm signals into two fibers. It is used for L-band EDFA.
 
1480/1550nm Fused WDM Module (Pump WDM)
1480/1550nm Fused WDM Module can combine 1480nm and 1550nm signals into one fiber or separate 1480nm and 1550nm signals into two fibers. It is used for C-band EDFA.
